​​The Gilroy Garlic Festival in Gilroy, CA holds an annual poster design contest. For this year's competition, I submitted a more contemporary design in hopes of a festival "revamp." All previous winners have been a piece of fine art, such as an oil or watercolor painting of their beloved garlic. The design was kept it bright, colorful, cute, n' groovy, which was how I interpreted the annual, family-friendly event. I suspect I was the only entry with a digital design, and ended up submitting two different options (Option 1 and 2). ​
