ABOUTMai Lee is currently pursuing a Masters of Architecture at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, and holds a BA in Architecture with minors in Urban & Regional Studies and Environmental Systems & Society from UCLA ('17). She has an interest in the interweaving of architecture, technology, and art, and how we can utilize design to respond to and affect the social/economic/political forces that form our society. Shaped by her experiences performing volunteer work in countries such as Peru and Senegal, she has a passion for inciting positive social change. Her love for travel and learning languages (she speaks English, Japanese, French, and some Swedish, Serer, and Wolof) and of cultures also fuels her interest to work in different cultural and linguistic settings. A versatile and driven individual, she has studied and worked across the globe including US, Japan, China, Sweden, and Switzerland, in fields spanning from design and architecture, business, education, health, to international development.
